Grade 4 Video Links for phase 3

1. https://www.zearn.org/   This is a free website with math videos that teach new concepts.


How to sign up:

-Go to https://about.zearn.org/ and click on "Get Started" at the top right of the page. Then select "Sign Up". On the next page, click on the circle labeled "I'm an Adult".
-In the form on the next page, you'll enter your personal information. Make sure to enter an email address that you have access to, and that you write down your password. Your email address will be your username in later steps. After entering that information, click "Next".
-On the next form, you'll click on the tab labeled "Other", enter your zip code, select "Homeschool" from the dropdown list of schools, and then click on the button labeled "One more thing". Once you read through these you'll move on by clicking on the button labeled "I accept".  They will send you a confirmation email to log back in. 

May 11 - 12 Math topic: Multiply Fractions 

-Go to:  https://www.Zearn.org ---click on the curriculum button at the top. You will see a drop down button that says choose grade and mission.  You want Grade 4 Mission 5. 

-Scroll down until you get to  Lesson 3 Click on the Guided Practice GREEN button to play the video. 

May 13 - 15 Math topic: Line Plots 

-Go to:  https://www.Zearn.org ---click on the curriculum button at the top. You will see a drop down button that says choose grade and mission.  You want Grade 4 Mission 5. 

-Scroll down until you get to  Lesson 28 Click on the Guided Practice GREEN button to play the video. 

May 19 - 28 Math topic: Measurement 

-Go to:  https://www.Zearn.org ---click on the curriculum button at the top. You will see a drop down button that says choose grade and mission.  You want Grade 4 Mission 2. 

-Scroll down until you get to  Lesson 1 - 4 Click on the Guided Practice GREEN button to play the video. 

May 29 - June 4 Math topic: Identify Decimals

-Go to:  https://www.Zearn.org ---click on the curriculum button at the top. You will see a drop down button that says choose grade and mission.  You want Grade 4 Mission 6. 

-Scroll down until you get to  Lesson 1 - 2 Click on the Guided Practice GREEN button to play the video. 

June 5 - June 8 Math topic: Compare Decimals

June 11-12 Math topic: Add & Subtract Decimals

-Go to:  https://www.Zearn.org ---click on the curriculum button at the top. You will see a drop down button that says choose grade and mission.  You want Grade 4 Mission 6. 

-Scroll down until you get to  Lesson 12-13 Click on the Guided Practice GREEN button to play the video. 

2.  http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/  This website has many resources, but is particularly helpful with practicing math facts in a quick easy way.  Students can select specific facts to focus on and the speed.

3.  https://www.reflexmath.com/  This website helps students become fluent in math facts.  They have an account through school.  Remind them that their password is the same as their AR password.

4. https://www.youtube.com/  This website is helpful for any topic.  We suggest typing in specific terms to search.  For example, type in “How to multiply a fraction times a whole number.”  There are always many options that pop up.

5. https://jr.brainpop.com/  This website is a fun website students love.  There are many instructional videos, activities, quizzes and games.  The username is trooseveltes and the password is brainpop.  Try clicking on math, then measurement and applicable topics. Explore some more!
